🌿 Welcome

Welcome 💛

There are moments in life where information is not the problem — holding the decision is.

DoubleDonorMumInMenopause exists for women navigating fertility, donor conception, solo motherhood, and midlife transition outside traditional timelines — particularly those who appear capable and composed, yet are quietly carrying complex emotional weight.

Founded by Dianne Kelly, this work is grounded in lived experience rather than theory. It brings together the emotional, practical, and identity-based realities of IVF, donor conception, older motherhood, and menopause — without rushing women toward answers or prescribing a single “right” path.

This is not a platform for motivation, fixing, or reassurance.
It is a space for clarity.

The IVF Reckoner

At the heart of this work sits the IVF Reckoner — a reflective decision-making tool created to support women before, during, and between fertility treatment cycles.

Unlike clinical guides or success-focused frameworks, the IVF Reckoner does not ask “Can you do this?”
It asks:

  • How are you holding this?

  • What do you need to feel steady, informed, and self-trusting?

  • What will matter to you later, not just now?

The Reckoner helps women slow down inside high-pressure fertility environments, giving language to questions that are often left unspoken — around readiness, identity, donor pathways, emotional capacity, grief, hope, and the future child.

It is designed to sit alongside medical care, not replace it — supporting emotional wellbeing and grounded decision-making between appointments, cycles, and outcomes.

Becoming Dianne

Becoming Dianne is the reflective core of the brand.

It is a space devoted to meaning-making and identity — particularly for women whose lives have not followed expected timelines. Through writing, audio, and resources, Becoming Dianne explores what it means to become a mother, a parent through donor conception, and a woman reshaping herself in midlife.

This work honours that becoming is not linear — and that identity often shifts alongside motherhood, not before or after it.

The YouTube Channel

The YouTube channel extends this work into long-form, emotionally honest conversation.

Here, Dianne speaks openly about double donor conception, being an older mother, menopause, grief, hope, ambivalence, and the quiet realities that sit beneath fertility and parenting narratives.

The tone is reflective rather than instructional — offering companionship, language, and perspective for women who may feel unseen in mainstream fertility spaces.

What This Work Stands For

Across all expressions of this brand, the intention remains the same:

  • to slow the pace of decision-making

  • to validate emotional complexity without pathologising it

  • to honour unconventional paths without romanticising them

  • and to help women trust themselves, even when certainty is unavailable

This work is not about convincing women to become mothers — or not to.
It is about supporting women to decide from a place of steadiness, dignity, and self-respect.

If you are here, you are not behind.
You are not broken.
And you do not need to rush.

You are becoming — and you are allowed to take your time.
